Seismic Upgrades

W.L. Construction encourages doing seismic upgrades on most of the projects we are involved with. Doing a major remodel presents an excellent opportunity to get at the core of a structure. However, if the upgrade is all that is desired – no problem. It is often a simple process of fastening the house securely to the foundation, though it can be more extensive if there are a number of windows. We work with Stability Engineering to plan an upgrade of an older home, allowing for earthquake insurance eligibility.
